Donations to Powell County Search and Rescue are used to fund critical training for members, life saving equipment and education and outreach to the local community. Generous donations allow us to continue to save lives as quickly and professionally as possible.

Powell County Search and Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization funded entirely through individual donations, and fundraisings.

Join the Team

There are many different roles and levels of support – you don’t have to be a world-class climber to provide an indispensable service to the search and rescue community.

Write A Check

One of the simplest ways to give is to write a check. Provide your name as you wish to be listed in our records and online (or let us know if you wish to remain anonymous), provide your preferred contact information and email address, and mail this information along with your check to:

Donate Equipment

Clear out your closet, get a tax deduction, and help save a life! Powell County Search and Rescue is in need of a wide variety of search and rescue equipment, including computers, software, rappelling equipment, personal protection equipment, night vision goggles and other gear.  Please contact us for more information on how to donate your valuable equipment to Powell County Search and Rescue.

Give In Honor Of Someone

Consider celebrating the birthdays and anniversaries of your loved ones, or making a donation in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one with a gift to Powell County Search and Rescue. When you provide acknowledgment addresses and instructions, we will send a letter or email with your personal message or remembrance. We will not share the amount of your gift unless you request it.
