Funds to cover the cost of equipment, training, and supplies come from donations by individuals, groups, and corporations. When you and your friends contribute money to our team, 100% of the funds go to things such as equipment maintenance & purchases, training programs, support expenses, and many other things to keep Powell County Search and Rescue in service. Not one member of the team receives compensation for their services. Not only can we use financial contributions, but we can also use various pieces of equipment, items, and supplies.
